Comcast did some repairs yesterday and that seems to have fixed my Internet connection. Here's hoping it stays up and running.

I'm still offline at home. We've got some sort of line damage that the first two techs couldn't fix. We've got someone coming out Sunday to try again to fix it. Until then (and possibly after), I will probably be offline. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay, I jumped through some technical hoops today, spent an hour on tech support (each person I was bounced to spoke more quietly than the one before). Finally, though, it seems that my Internet connection is back up and running.  However, I'm not laying any bets on whether it will STAY up.

Comcast is sending someone out sometime on Thursday to replace the modem. Hopefully I'll be online until then, but who can say? So, maybe I'll see you around, maybe I won't. If my connection goes down (and stays down), I won't be able to check e-mail or fill orders. If it looks like it's going to stay down, I'll haul the laptop to Starbuck's and get some work done there.
