A Message from Michael Murphy
Sept. 17, 2004 -- Houston, Texas

Dear Friends,

We here at Hawgleg are very grateful for all of the support that you have given us over the years. We're in the business of producing games and, like you, we use these diversions as a way to get together with friends and relieve the pressures of everyday life. That’s why we try not to let “Real World Events” creep into our Website.

This time, however, there are some things happening out there that we don’t want to ignore.

As one of the founders of Hawgleg, and I think I speak for the rest of the gang, I would ask you to remember the people currently experiencing the hardships of dealing with the series of devastating hurricanes and storms along the Gulf Coast and the East Coast.

A good part of my family is in Richmond Va, and they are still cleaning up after a horrible storm. In the state of Florida, families and entire communities are working to rebuild their lives from Hurricane Frances, even as the Gulf Coast and eastern regions of the U.S. are reeling from the onslaught of Hurricane Ivan.

To those who have been affected by these devastating storms, I just wanted to say that we here at Hawgleg will keep you in our prayers and wish you the best of luck. For those of you out there that would like to help your fellow citizens (and fellow gamers), an excellent way is to make a contribution to the American Red Cross. A little bit does indeed go a mighty long way.

We wish everyone out there a safe time for themselves and their families in this difficult time that we are having with these storms.
