For the first time, each Rider is worth a different amount. Big Jack and the Phoenix Kid are newcomers, so the reward isn’t very high for them (even though Big Jack gunned down two innocent people – guess he was right to kill all the witnesses). Hank the German, on the other hand, killed the Texas Ranger (and stole his star), so there is a BIG price on his head. The others shouldn’t feel too bad about the prices on their heads, though -- $500 is still a lot of money!
